A few things from Whitewater Creek (WWC):
*WWC has three entrances off Redwine Rd. Use the MIDDLE one with the guard. The guards know about the meet and will let you in.
* Park in the WWC Country Club parking lot, which is above the pool area on Birkdale Dr.
* Once the pool clubhouse parking lot is full, we ask that everyone park on the same side of the road. We will have one side of the road marked with signs so parents will know where to park, up Birkdale and along the pool road.
* We are leaving our pool furniture out; however, we recommend that people bring chairs, as we know there are not enough in our pool area for everyone. Shade is limited, so you may want to bring a tent or two. These can be placed in a limited amount on the deck. Families are encouraged to set up on the grass outside the deck.
* There will be concessions during the meet. It is CASH only! We will have pizza, Chick-fil-a, chips, snacks, drinks, and candy.
A few things from Wilshire:
*If your swimmer is ill or injured and will be unable to swim, please text Coach Susan (770-265-2925) as soon as you know so that we can find a replacement for your child’s relay. Otherwise, please make all efforts to attend the meet you committed to.
*Use a sharpie to write your child’s name in tshirt, bathing suit, etc. in case anything gets lost. Also, every swimmer 10 and younger should have name and age written on his/her upper left arm. This makes it easier for the volunteers helping get your swimmer to the correct place.
*Clean up all trash around you at the meet and have your kids do the same please. Remember that most people working the meets are volunteers, so please be polite, respectful, and helpful.
Definitely have for the meet:
Goggles, team suit on (or any suit), cap (if you use one), and towel
Suggested items to bring to the meet:
Food, drinks, foldable chairs, sunscreen, a sharpie (for writing events on swimmer's arm), cash for concession stand (smaller bills appreciated), blanket (for swimmers to hang out on), printed copy of the heat sheet (although it should be accessible online this year)
Go Wahoos!!!!!!!
Coach Susan
