The Whitewater coordinator just contacted me to let me know that she plans to run an EXHIBITION 100 yd. IM's at the end of our meet.  What that means is any swimmer could choose to race the 100 yd. IM in addition to their 2 main events on Thursday night.  The swimmer would earn no ribbon and no points for our team... they would merely get the practice and a time (if they didn't get DQ'd - and stroke judges will be watching closely!).  So feel free to add this if your swimmer can swim all 4 strokes legally and would like to swim it.  As with the 100 Lap Club, please don't force your child to do this race!

What is 100 yd. IM? IM = Individual Medley. Each swimmer swims a race that includes 25 yd. of each stroke in the order fly, back, breast, free for a total of 100 yd. It is challenging to do this and not get DQ'd, so please make sure your swimmer knows this before choosing this race.
