It's that time of year again -- Wahoo registration!

We will start PRIORITY swim team registration online for Wilshire Wahoos summer swim team on Friday, March 1, for all returning families and/or current Wilshire residents. Look through the swimtopia website (wilshirewahoos.swimtopia.com) for all information regarding dates for practices and meets, pricing, policies, etc. I'll send you the registration link in a separate email soon.

On Friday, March 8, we will open registration to all others, so make sure to register before then to ensure your swimmer's spot on the team!  If you have a friend who'd like to join the team, please encourage them to read through the website (as opposed to telling them to email me).

Stop by the pool with your swimmer on Sunday, March 10 between 3 - 5 pm to try on suits and/or drop off payment. If you can't make it, we will have other suit try on days/times.

Since you all are returning families... Here's what's different this year, FYI:

1.  The age cut offs have changed (5 - 7 yr in the 8 am group, 8 -10 yr in the 9 am group, 11-18 yr in the 10 am group).

2.  We will hold a "time trial" meet against ourselves to practice on Thursday, May 30.  Time TBD, but hopefully in the morning during the regular practice time.

3.  There will be NO AFTER SCHOOL practices this year.  The first practice is on Monday, May 29 (Memorial Day).

4.  The end-of-season party will be held on Sunday evening, June 30, which is a day after the City Championship Meet.  As the league has grown, there just isn't enough time to get it all into the same day!

5.  One of our dual meets is against Lake Windsong, which is a neighborhood in Tyrone.  We're excited to welcome this new team to our league!
