Hi again,

Our 1st meet sign up is open, so please use the swimtopia app to rsvp (ATTENDING or NOT ATTENDING) so that we know whether your swimmer is coming or not to the meet! We need EVERYONE to rsvp by 1 pm on Tuesday so that we can get entries turned in. For this first meet, the coaches will choose which 2 individual events your child swims. For all subsequent meets, swimmer/parent can choose the 2 individual events. Coaches will choose entries for relays at all meets. Since each relay needs 4 swimmers, sometimes a swimmer will swim with an older age group or some girls will race with the boys for relays -- all in the spirit of making the most relays as possible! Swimmers might have 1 or 2 relays.

Also, Wahoos pays our coaches, but we depend heavily on parent volunteers to help our meets run smoothly. EACH FAMILY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR 2 VOLUNTEER JOBS AT SOME POINT IN THE SEASON. Please get creative as we really need the help throughout the season! You can always hire a babysitter 1 night so you can both volunteer, you can do a job that you can do with a younger sibling in tow, or there are some jobs at home meets that happen before or after the meet, etc. We only need about 10 volunteers for away meets, but for our 1st 2 home meets we will have LOTS of jobs!
