End of Season Party!

ALL Wahoos and their family members are welcome to come celebrate a fantastic season at our pool on Sunday, June 29 from 6 - 7:30 pm!  We'll have dinner starting at 6 pm (pizza, salad, watermelon and cookies) followed by awards around 6:30 pm. All are welcome to swim before (starting at 5 pm) or after the party, but there will be no lifeguard on duty so please watch especially your younger swimmers carefully.  We will have team prizes for all Wahoos.  If you can't make it, please help me out by asking a friend or neighbor to pick up your prizes for you.  Otherwise, we will connect sometime in July so you can pick them up.

We give a cash gift to the coaches, and this was included in the cost when you signed up for Wahoos. But we'll also have small gift bags out at practice on Thursday, as well as at the party in case you and/or your swimmer would like to write a note or draw a picture for any (or all!) of the coaches. Coaches LOVE reading these when we get home after the team party!

There are a few small jobs needed for the party - no early sign ups needed though...

1. I'll bring some watermelons to practice on Wednesday - you can take one home and wash it, chill it, cut it up in small slices, and bring it to the party on Sunday.

2. I'll bring a large drink container and some lemonade mix to practice on Wednesday - you'll need to clean the container, make lemonade, then bring it to the party on Sunday.

3. I'll need a few people to serve food to help the line go quickly on Sunday. Just step in if you see the need!
